In this chilled-out workshop, you'll learn how to melt, mix and pour wax to create DIY candles from scratch.
Your friendly teacher Kylie will guide you step-by-step throughout your journey and provide all the equipment and tools, so don't worry if it's your first attempt at candle making. You'll feel all of your worries melt away as you sit back and focus on getting creative with your group.

Workshop Venue
This workshop is held in Spalding in Lincolnshire hosted by Jane at Fabric Paper Scissors located in her cosy garden cabin studio in Gedney Hill.
Join us and learn a new skill, open up your creative side and enjoy an informal, relaxed candle class. We can host for up to 8 people at this venue.
Everything is set up and ready for when you arrive. We provide tea & coffee on arrival. Jane will offer her homemade cake within the interval with another cuppa of course!
For accessibility at the venue: There’s a couple of little steps 10cm
From the path in to the studio and 5cm from studio into toilet.

On the day...
You will arrive in good time, and we will settle in with a cuppa and introductions.
Aprons on! And we then begin with a little introduction about KB and the art of candle making. Scents are then chosen, and we start making.
You will make a luxury KB candle and a large heart wax melt.
There is also an option to play around with colouring your wax anf blending fragrances to create something truly unique.
There is an interval where your creations have time to cure and we can chat and eat homemade cake!
We will then de-mold your wax melts, snip your wicks and box up your creations. We will then wrap up the class with a good old game of candle bingo!
The workshops duration is 3 hours.
No experience required.
