If you love nothing more than the relaxing scent of a clean, non-toxic, soy candle with a crackling wooden wick, then why not come and craft your very own at this blissful candle making class in Islip, Northamptonshire?
In this relaxed workshop, you'll learn how to melt, mix and pour wax to create luxury candles and wax melts from scratch.
Your friendly teacher Kylie will guide you step-by-step throughout your journey and provide you with all the equipment and tools that you'll need, so don't worry if it's your first attempt at candle making.
You'll feel all of your worries melt away as you sit back and focus on getting creative with your group.

Workshop venue
This workshop is held in the stable room at The Woolpack Inn. Nestled in the idiylic countryside of Islip, Northamptonshire. Adjacent to Thrapston and is close to the A14 leading to Kettering. (Image shown will be of a similar set up and there will be a another table for eating)
Workshop is available for private hire.
We are currently catering for up to 20 per class however, if you are a larger group i,e a hen party, birthday party or a corporate team. Please email us with your numbers prior to booking and we will do our best to help. If we are unable to secure seats on that particular date or venue area we can talk through other options that are available.
Everything is set up and ready for when you arrive. At this venue we provide Homemade buffet style food during the day and fresh hot buffet during the evening class.
There will be slight changes to offerings and price during our festive workshops throughout November and December.
Venue is mobility safe. Please let us know on your booking form if you require any further asistance. Feel free to contact us if you would like to discuss anything before your arrival.
There is ample parking to the rear of the building. Please be respecful to the neighbouring residents if you park outside of the pub car park.
On the day...
You will arrive at the start time that you have selected, whether that is for the day time or the evening class. The workshop will start once we all get settled with a nice cuppa or something stronger if you wish!
Aprons on and we then begin with an itinerary of the workshop followed by an introduction about KB and the art of candle making.
Scents are then chosen and we get down to the fun part - making.
You will make a luxury KB candle and a large heart wax melt.
There is also an option to play around with colouring your wax.
There is an interval where your creations have time to cure and your bellies have time to be fed. The restaurant will provide homemade buffet style food during each class. This is all included.
Once food is finished, we can de-mold your wax melts, snip your wicks and box up your creations.
The workshops duration is 2.5 hours
12pm - 2.30pm or 6.30pm - 9.00pm
You will take home all that you have made on the day.
You will also receive 10% off to spend on the day/ evening of your class, on any KB products, that will be on display for you to browse throughout the workshop.
For a special treat, you can book a private 2-person session. Different fee's apply for this service.
