If you love nothing more than the relaxing scent of a good soy candle, why not come and craft your own at this blissful candle making class in Upper Stowe Northamptonshire?
In this chilled-out workshop, you'll learn how to melt, mix and pour wax to create DIY candles from scratch.
Your friendly teacher Kylie will guide you step-by-step throughout your journey and provide all the equipment and tools, so don't worry if it's your first attempt at candle making. You'll feel all of your worries melt away as you sit back and focus on getting creative with your group.
Whether you deserve some self-care or are looking to treat a special someone with a relaxing experience gift, this workshop will leave you feeling calm and collected, with a beautiful candle to take home.

Whether you’re looking for your next DIY craft adventure or you’re simply looking for some one-off fun with friends or family, you’re sure to love the sensory bliss of learning how to make candles. Your creations will smell and look divine. We are currently catering for 6 attendees in the shop, however, if you are a larger group i,e a hen party, please email us with your numbers prior to booking and we will let you know if we have another venue available within the area.
A perfect get together with family and friends, a trip out with collegues or for a wholesome hen party with your top ladies. And we don't just cater for women either, so for all those husbands, male friends and acquaintances - you're invited!

Workshops
This workshop is held at The Old Dairy Farm, nestled in a beautiful setting at Upper Stowe in Magnolia Barn.
Join us and learn a new skill, open up your creative side and enjoy an informal, relaxed candle class.
Everything is set up and ready for when you arrive and all you have to bring is your lovely self! We provide unlimited tea and coffee throughout the workshop and a glass of prosecco if you wish and lunch is also included.
On the day...
You will arrive at 11am and the workshop will start once we are all settled with a nice cuppa!
Aprons on! And we then begin with a little introduction about KB and the art of candle making.
Scents are then chosen and we start making.
You will make a luxury KB candle and a heart wax melt.
There is also an option to play around with colouring your wax.
There is an interval where your creations have time to cure and your bellies have time to be fed. There is a wonderful cafe on site who will be providing delicious, homemade lunches. This is all included. See below for menu.
Once we return, we can de-mold your wax melts, snip your wicks and box up your creations. We will then wrap up the class with a good old game of candle bingo!
The workshops duration is 3 hours.
11am - 2pm
You will take home all that you have made on the day.
You will also receive 10% off to spend in store on the day of class.
For a special treat, you can book a private 2-person session. Different fee's apply for this service.
